About Saylorville Lake Marina
Saylorville Lake is located on the Des Moines River in central Iowa, just north of the city of Des Moines. This 26,000 acre lake area provides a minimum downstream river flow for water supply and water quality during drought periods. Park Rangers manage the woodland, wetland, and prairie habitats. The lake offers multiple boat launches, beaches, and outdoor recreation including camping, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, wildlife watching and more.
The Marina itself employs 5 full time employees and 15 seasonal employees all dedicated to making your experience at the Marina an enjoyable one.
